Leonard G. Brown III is a shareholder in Clymer & Musser, P.C. and his practice focuses on constitutional litigation in the areas of free exercise of religion, freedom of assembly and free speech, Civil Litigation and Estate Planning. Mr. Brown has been trained by the Alliance Defense Fund's National Litigation Academy and has participated in ADF strategic planning conferences. He was raised in Southern Lancaster County, leaving in 1987 to accept an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Mr. Brown graduated from West Point in 1991 and commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served as a light engineer platoon leader and executive officer at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. Mr. Brown was graduated magna cum laude from the Campbell University School of Law in 1998. While at Campbell, he served as Article Editor for the Campbell Law Review and president of the Christian Legal Society. Upon graduation he served two years as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Malcolm J. Howard, District Court Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. While a federal law clerk he also served as in the U.S. Army Reserve JAGC at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, PA. He currently serves as a Major assigned to U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, as a reserve JAG officer.
